About Us

The Nags Head Pier has been an Outer Banks landmark for generations. When Kevin and Connie Nielsen restored it, they knew the place needed more than a new structure — it needed the people on it. It's still what it's always been, just with a nice upgrade: a spot to fish off the boards, catch the sunrise, and stay in cottages just steps from the sand.

For the food and drink, they brought in Robert and Susan Stanovsek. Visit the Pier House Café for nice sit-down meal, Off the Hook Beach Bar for a refreshing drink and live entertainment, and Beaches & Cream for a cold ice cream on a hot OBX beach day — all with the best view in Nags Head.

It's all right at the start of the pier: fishing and cottages on one side, café, bar, and ice cream on the other. Come see why the locals keep coming back.
